Mission Statement
This bill aims to safeguard individuals targeted by "unlawful" grooming with the intent of inflicting harm, ensuring that accused individuals cannot plead down to lesser charges. By eliminating the option for plea bargains, this legislation seeks to hinder perpetrators from causing imminent physical harm to unlawfully groomed victims, including but not limited to human trafficking cases
